Closed for winter – Open 26th November for our Christmas Open Day

The Monkey Sanctuary is now closed for the winter; however don’t forget our annual Christmas Open day on the 26th November between 11am – 3pm.

Come along to the Monkey Sanctuary’s very special Christmas Open Day giving you the last chance to visit the Sanctuary in 2017. There will be mince pies, a Tombola, carol singers between 1pm and 2pm, and carers giving talks about the monkeys throughout the day. Plus it will give you a chance to get some Christmas shopping from our ethical and fair trade gift shop!

The Sanctuary cares for monkeys that have been rescued, mainly from the UK primate pet trade so visiting us gives visitors an intimate insight to a working sanctuary. There’s a lot to do for the whole family, who can take a tour of the monkey enclosures and learn about these fascinating animals, stroll around our beautiful wildlife gardens, and our playground and Wild Play area will be open for the children to enjoy.
